Mackaya bella is a shrubby plant with dark green leaves.
The flowers are white with pink-purple lines.

A place in light to partial shade is well tolerated. In the summer, the plant needs some extra water. While overwintering in a cool place, you can keep the soil slightly moist.

The shrub grows to around 100/150cm in a tub, but can be pruned in autumn.
