Yucca rostrata, also known as the beaked yucca, is one of the hardiest yuccas and is native to Texas and Mexico.

The plant is tree-shaped, with a trunk up to 4.5m high, topped with a leaf crown that can be up to 1m wide. The flower stem, which is up to 1m long, has white flowers.
